The use and characteristics of graphite paper
Graphite paper is a flake product made of natural flake graphite after high-temperature hot pressing.
Because this material has good electrical and thermal conductivity, it is widely used in the electronic and electrical industries and military fields, such as: mobile phone battery protection boards, lithium battery negative electrode materials, etc.; in addition, due to its good high temperature resistance, it is also commonly used in some equipment in high temperature environments.
1. Electronic products:
Graphite paper, as a new type of polymer composite insulating medium (silicone-basedinslator), has excellent electrical properties and chemical stability. It is in the state of black or gray powder solid particles at room temperature, insoluble in water and organic solvents. It has good dielectric strength, voltage resistance and excellent mechanical properties, and can be widely used in the production of capacitor electrode foils of various shapes and other special devices that require heat resistance.
2. Military products:
The particularity of military products determines the particularity of its material selection. Graphite is one of the hardest substances in nature (second only to diamond), and its high melting point (1045°C), strong oxidation resistance and non-flammability make it one of the important materials for manufacturing military body armor.
3. Automobile industry:
The high-strength composite materials for the car body are mainly composed of two parts: the body frame structure made of aluminum-magnesium alloy and high-strength steel, and the cover made of glass fiber reinforced plastic.
