Place the formed graphite brick in the hot joint of the casting that needs to be chilled, so that the metallographic structure of the casting can be more than 95% of fine flaky pearlite, the number of eutectic clusters can reach 450-550cm, and the hardness of the casting can be increased by 20-50HB , can improve the surface finish and wear resistance of castings. When using graphite brick, graphite paint or talcum powder paint can be painted on the graphite bricks, and the use times are 5-10 times longer than that of metal chiller.
